7 Hills Project

The 7 Hills Project was a project between St Marys Music School in Edinburgh, author Sir Alexander McCall Smith, and Ryan surrounding the 7 hills of Edinburgh. St Marys providing the music, Sir Alexander providing the words and Ryan providing the visuals for 7 short films.

The Great Tapestry of Scotland

Ryan was commissioned by the Great Tapestry of Scotland to film 6 films to accompany music that had been inspired by the tapestry panels. These films are on display at the Great Tapestry Museum in Galashiels and where presented to His Majesty the King in 2023.

Alexander McCall Smith

For the 2021 Edinburgh International Book Festival, Ryan produced and filmed a hour long interview between Sir Alexander McCall Smith and Baroness Ruth Davidson. This was shown to an international audience during the 2021 Edinburgh Book Festival.
